Human Geography Textbook Companion Site - This is one of the recommended textbooks, so I'd make use of it.Use the fact sheet to identify which articles you'll need to read. There are quite a few topics here that you'll need to know, like Primate cities, Urban Geography, etc. Urban, Economic, and Transportation Geography - Okay, I'll admit that the Geography section of does seem to have it's act together.You need to know both for the Human Cultural Geography DSST. Still, this is a nice article on Cultural diffusion as well as cultural hearths. - I know some people love, but I've rarely found it of much use.This one is pretty broad from what I see on the chapter lists, so you may just want to hit the ones that match the DSST fact sheet. The Power of Place - Geography - As with the above, I'd watch them if you have the time.Personally, I'd watch them all along with the next one if you have the time. Pay attention to the bottom of the fact sheet. Make sure you check out the Official DSST Fact Sheet for this exam. If you do have to take this, then keep on reading. If you don't have to take this one, then why not try something easier instead? Check out any of the CLEP's or other lower level credit DSST exams. I feel like a traffic cop, telling people to "Move along, there's nothing to see here", but that's not far from the truth. There is some overlap between the two, and I'm seeing many of the same subjects on the fact sheet that I saw on the World Population ECE. So who should take this exam? Well, if you're planning on taking the ECE World Population then taking this exam would help prepare you. Unless you absolutely have to take this exam to fill a requirement, there are easier DSST's out there for the same amount of credit. If I had to guess at the reason, it's probably because the Human Cultural Geography DSST is such a niche topic. This is another of the DSST's that isn't too popular.
